Private cloud is a must not a failure

By | February 9, 2017

I keep reading this scare-ware articles from a lot of technical sites about the private cloud model being a failure.  Like this one http://www.techrepublic.com/article/private-clouds-very-public-failure/?tag=nl.e101&s_cid=e101&ttag=e101&ftag=TRE684d531.

What a load of BS. Private cloud fails only when the organization has no idea how to manage it. This is valid for any IT related operation.

Trusting the data of the company, or your personal data to a third party “big corporation” is the most stupid thing you can do.

First they are making money from you, second they can always simply sell your data to the highest bidder. And trust me they will do it in a blink of an eye.

It is so easy today to make a server setup + good internet + OwnCloud + VPN an you are all set.

Most of the hosting sites become co-owners of your content the second you put it there. You just give them money for free.
